ARTISTS STATEMENT
"My heart is in my art. Although I am known for pointillism paintings and graphite drawings, I love a challenge and get easily bored. My nature leads me to work in a variety of styles, media, and subject matter. What I am trying to achieve in my artwork is to convey my many life's interests, and to connect with all different types of people through art.
I paint with oils, acrylics, pastels, watercolors, tempura, inks, and graphite powder. I will draw with anything that I can get my hands on that will make a mark or smudge on paper. I throw pottery, and work in ceramics, create mosaics, weave baskets, do a little woodworking, and make handmade paper. I sometimes like to combine techniques and materials to make unique mixed media pieces."
